From the age of 5, I have learnt Indian classical tabla. For the first 10 years I learnt from my Guruji, Sri Shib Shankar Ray, at the Bharati Vidya Bhavan in London. After this I further experimented in bhajan accompaniment on my own. Tabla for me is a big part of my life, without it I wouldn’t be who I am today. The way I interact with the world is greatly influenced by the music i have learnt.
